Ride the Balloon Fiesta Bus

Children under 5 years old and younger ride for free.

Use Any of 5 Park-and-Ride Locations


The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta offers bus rides to the fiesta from five park-and-ride locations around the city. Tickets cost between $7 and $20 depending on your age and whether you buy them in advance. All ticket prices includes the price of admission to the fiesta. Children under 5 years old and younger ride for free.

Pickup and drop-off locations are Cottonwood Mall, Airport Parking on University Boulevard near the airport, Hoffman Town Church, Coronado Center, and Intel’s southern parking lot in Rio Rancho.ABQ Ride does not operate any Park and Rides to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Buses start running at 4:30 a.m. The first buses that return from the balloon field to the Park and Ride lots leave the balloon park at 8:30 a.m.

The buses are contracted yellow school buses. You can buy your bus/fiesta ticket online in advance. If you want to buy it on the bus, only credit cards will be accepted.
