BY ABQ FREE PRESS WEEKLY STAFF

The Albuquerque Fire Department and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives National Response Team will begin a joint investigation into the fire that destroyed the luxury condo Carlisle complex.

A representative for the fire department said in a news release that a team of 25 certified fire investigators and special agents from the ATF will help the Albuquerque Fire Department identify the origin of the fire.

The Nov. 23 fire at the Carlisle Condominiums, 3600 Central Ave. SE, caused an estimated $9 million in damage. The building is a total loss. The ATF and the fire department are asking anyone with additional information about the fire to call 242-COPS.
