ART Construction Announces Milestones In Old Town Area

Rio Grande Intersection Open To Traffic

The Albuquerque Rapid Transit (ART) Construction team announces two major milestones on schedule in the Old Town area. The Rio Grande intersection open to traffic in all directions.

Additionally, the work on San Pasquale is partially complete, and northbound San Pasquale is now open.

“We appreciate people’s patience as we’ve worked to not only construct ART, but also rebuild the intersection of Rio Grande/Central/San Pasquale,” said Dayna Crawford, Project Manager for ART and Deputy Director of the City of Albuquerque Transit Department. “Construction is more than 40% complete, and we will be announcing many more milestones in the weeks to come.”

People can get additional information on ART at BRTABQ.com or by calling 505-398-4ART.
