Road Construction Activity For The Week Of June 5

Plan Ahead To Minimize Delays

What follows is construction for the week of June 5 as well as available left turns. Please note the following areas have traffic shifts; commuters should allow extra time to get through these areas and plan ahead to minimize frustration.

Coors Intersection: Intersection work continues, expect major delays for commuters.

Old Coors Intersection: Old Coors traffic able to turn right onto Central eastbound and left for westbound traffic will be directed to the new travel lane, Yucca Dr.

Atrisco Intersection: Intersection work continues, expect delays for commuters.

New York Intersection: Eastbound New York is closed. Central EB and WB are still able to turn onto New York WB.

Clayton Intersection: Clayton is temporarily closed on the south side of Central. Detour Merritt.

Rio Grande & Central Intersection: The intersection has reopened.

San Pasquale: Northbound has reopened.

Presbyterian Hospital Area Work: New entrance to Presbyterian off Central – Spruce. Cedar Street southbound from Central is no longer available. Due to construction in the area of Presbyterian Hospital, those needing access are encouraged to reroute to Lead/Coal to minimize construction and traffic related delays.

University and Central Intersection: University northbound right lane tapers before intersection. Eastbound Central before University parking and right hand lanes restricted.

Nob Hill Sidewalk Work: Various areas of sidewalk and ADA ramp construction ongoing. Southside of Central between Carlisle and Solano will see significant roadway reconstruction to adjust current elevation to mitigate flooding.

Monroe Intersection: Monroe is temporarily closed on the south side of Central for emergency maintenance. Detour Quincy/Madison. It will be reopened as soon as possible.
