Starting Wednesday: Three-part Series On Medical Marijuana

It's pretty easy to get a medical marijuana card. But using medical pot could make it more difficult to get a life insurance policy.

So how easy is it to get a medical marijuana card in New Mexico, and what are some of the consequences of using medical cannabis?

Beginning Wednesday, ABQ Free Press will publish a three-part series that looks at those issues and answers some questions.

The series, by veteran New Mexico journalist Tom Sharpe, will also look at how the medical cannabis industry has changed over the years and how it is now one of the state’s biggest growth industries.
